Welcome to Coastie Outdoors

I started Coastie Outdoors in 2020 as a way to help people connect with nature.  I believe that nature can heal, inspire, and fulfill us as humans.

Especially with the difficult year of 2020, I believe it is important for us to find ways to connect with nature and each other in stronger, more sincere, ways.  This will ultimately lead to a more satisfying life.

I first began Coastie Outdoors as an extension of my service in the US Coast Guard. The name for a service member in the Coast Guard is "Coastie". I made videos explaining how to stay safe in nature. This soon developed into something more, something deeper, rich with purpose. Coastie Outdoors seeks to not only help people stay safe, but experience nature to the fullest.
